With hunting season right around the corner, here's one question we've been getting a lot lately: What is the difference between TenPoint's ACUdrawACUdraw 50, and ACUdraw PRO?  Let us break it down for you...

Ten Point’s ACUdraw cocking system is extremely user friendly and is made exclusively for TenPoint crossbows . The ACUdraw system is fully integrated into the stock of TenPoint crossbows and has no hanging parts which means there's no need to fuss with taking it on and off of your crossbow. Even better? The ACUdraw system reduces draw weight to only about five pounds, making it possible for pretty much anyone to enjoy these crossbows. Another important feature is that the system cocks your crossbow back the same way every time. A consistent draw maximizes your crossbow’s accuracy. **Now includes adapter plates to fit any Wicked Ridge model.**

To use TenPoint's ACUdraw system, simply disengage the lever on the system and place the cocking bracket on your crossbow’s string serving. Then engage the ACUdraw system and connect the crank handle. So long as you hear the clicking sound you can safely let go of the handle. *Be sure the safety is in the “Fire” position as you crank.* Continue cranking the crossbow until the string reaches the trigger mechanism. When this happens the safety moves into the “safe” position. At this point, you can disengage the ACUdraw system and move the cocking sled back into its stowaway position on the crossbow and you're good to go. When you are ready to shoot at your target, simply place an arrow in the crossbow.

Key Points:

  • Reduces draw weight to about 5-pounds when operated manually
  • Lightweight and has no bulky clamp-on assemblies or hang-on accessories
  • Draws the bow accurately every time
  • Available as an accessory or pre-installed

Are you a hunter who prefers to cock your crossbow on your own? The ACUdraw 50cocking mechanism takes the ordinary rope cocker to the next level. There's no need to worry about storing your rope cocker or forgetting it back at the cabin, because it's always with your crossbow. The ACUdraw 50 reduces draw weight by half and the spring system makes it much easier to cock since there is no slack in the rope.

Key Points:

  • Draws the bow accurately every time
  • No more need to hang a rope around your neck or to stash it in your fanny pack
  • When not in use, powerful mini-magnets hold the handles securely and silently in place
    • (Each ACUdraw 50 handle is marked: WARNING: Contains a powerfulNeodymium magnet that may interfere with the safe operation of pacemakers or other medical implants.)
  • Available as an accessory or pre-installed
  • Not compatible with ultra-narrow or reverse-draw crossbows

While both systems are extremely user friendly and easy to use, if you suffer from back or shoulder problems you may want to gravitate towards the ACUdraw system. If not, the ACUdraw 50 may be all you need.

If you're looking for the elite option, check out the ACUdraw PRO. The ACUDRAW PRO is completely silent, and fully integrated into the stock. The ACUdraw PRO converts crossbow draw weights to 8.5-pounds of effort. It features a newly designed internal gear system that silently cocks the crossbow and reduces the number of cranks needed to do so. The ACUdraw PROcocks a crossbow an incredible 43% faster than other ACUdraw models. With a new auto-engaging lever and ACUtorq crank handle (sold separately) that eliminates the possibility of over-cranking, it is the fastest, lightest, quietest, and safest cocking device on the market.

Key Points:

  • Reduces draw weight to 8.5-pounds
  • Silent operation
  • Draws most crossbows 43% faster than the ACUdraw model
  • 4-ounces lighter than the ACUdraw model
  • New auto-engage lever activates the gear system immediately as cranking begins
  • Draws the bow accurately every time
