All GORE-TEX® products are built around the GORE-TEX® membrane. Per square inch, the GORE-TEX® membrane has 9 billion tiny pores. Water vapor can still escape from these holes even though they are too small for water droplets to get through. Perspiration may readily leave while water from the outside and chilly air cannot, keeping you dry and comfortable all day. The GORE-TEX® membrane is incorporated between outer fabric and lining to produce GORE-TEX® fabrics.
