"On the Downstream"Acrylic on canvas 2018
16"x20" framed in barn wood frame
From Adam the Artist:" I’ve always been very passionate about art. Painting, drawing, sculpture. For years I was a chef, working with food as my medium. Having always been an angler and lover of the outdoors, in 2008 I started drawing flies with ink. It was an immediate connection for me. I love how there is a pattern to every fly, yet they are like snowflakes, each slightly different and unique. The many colors and textures are an endless inspiration. Over the years I’ve always tried to paint things that I love and believe in. I’m very interested in lighting and perspective. Looking at things in a different way. Whether it be a trout, a fly, or a concert, I immerse myself in each painting I do."
