All lead times are estimations and are not exact time frames.

Purchases made can be returned for any reason within 30 days of purchase. All returned items must be in new, resalable condition and include original packaging and all hardware and accessories. The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer and a 20% restocking fee will apply. (If the product has been mounted or used it is not in new, resalable condition and will incur a 25% restocking fee) Items that were customized to ANY degree are not eligible for return.

After 30 days, non-warranty related returns are at the sole discretion of Aventuron and/or Prinsu Design Studio. A restocking fee of 20% will apply as long as the items have not been mounted or used. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If the returned products are not in new, resalable condition – a repackaging, restocking, and/or damaged goods fee of up to 30% of the product value may be deducted from the refund.

 

Thomas & Thomas

All T&T rods are handcrafted at their factory in Greenfield, MA. Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for their craftsman to build your rod if it is not in stock at our warehouse.  We do stock several models and variants.  If worried about lead-time contact us to learn if your rod is in stock before ordering.

 

Twin Eagles

Please contact us prior to ordering to verify the availability of the item(s) you are interested in.  Though we have some stock in our warehouse, the bulk of Twin Eagles products ship direct from the distributor and stock is constantly changing.  Stock can range from in stock to a backorder of up to 26 weeks.

 

Yeti Cycles

Due to the nature of ordering and building Yeti Cycles, you have 24 hours to change your mind and cancel your order on a full build bicycle. After that time period, you are subject to a 10% restocking fee to cover our costs already incurred. If you wish, you can receive a refund of 25% or more in store credit with the remainder returned on your original payment method.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for order fulfillment on Yeti Cycles. 

Katadyn water filters and Optimus stoves are top-quality products made of high-grade materials. These products are carefully produced by hand and undergo comprehensive quality control during their manufacturing and prior to delivery.

Upon the purchase of a water filter or camping stove Katadyn provides a voluntary manufacturer warranty for material and manufacturing defects under the following conditions:

The following conditions, which describe the prerequisites and scope of our voluntary warranty, shall not affect the corresponding statutory warranty rights from the sales contract.

This warranty extends exclusively to the first lawful end customer; the warranty is non-transferrable. This warranty extends exclusively to Katadyn water filters and Optimus stoves that were purchased through an authorized dealer, sales partner or an online shop belonging to the Katadyn Group.

a) Duration and beginning of the warranty

The voluntary manufacturer warranty applies to all Katadyn water filters as of the date of purchase thereof by the first end customer:

- 2 years on Katadyn water filters and UV pens except for the Katadyn Pocket microfilter;

- 2 years on Optimus stoves;

- 20 years on the Katadyn Pocket Water Microfilter

b) Territorial scope

The territorial scope of this warranty includes only products that were purchased in the European Union, the signatory states to the Agreement of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Canada and USA.

4. Exclusion of warranty. Original parts and components

Any products or product parts that are not listed above are not covered by this warranty. It does not cover chemicals, cleaning products, cooking utensils, pots, pans and any food items. 

a) This warranty does not apply to:

• Normal wear and tear. Wear parts, which include, but are not limited to, the following: filter elements, gaskets, pump leahter, water and fuel hoses, floaters and strainers, including weight.
• Improper use: defects due to improper use, as described in the manual. Improperly performed cleaning of the filter element or filter unit.
• Inappropriate maintenance: improperly performed cleaning of the filter element or filter unit.
• Installation of replacement parts or add-on components that were not originally provided for this water filter or are not compatible with it.
• Damage or malfunctions caused by accidents, improper handling or negligence
• Accidents or drop damage.

b) The warranty right shall be forfeited in the event of:

• Misuse of the product.
• Not using the product as intended or overstressing the product in a different way.
• Not following the operating manual.
• Not performing the prescribed regular maintenance.
• Any change in the components.
