The Prinsu 4Runner Roofrac is the last rack you’ll need for your 2010-2018 Toyota! This rack is modular, adjustable, and completely bolt-together. We’ve also got our ¾ and ⅞ length models for a more precise fit, in case you need to get really specific. The rack consists of 2 laser cut side rails constructed of ¼” 5052 aluminum plate. On each side of these rails are some mounting tabs that let you botl the rack into the factory mounting holes. DO NOTE, this requires some drilling. One hole above the driver’s side door and one above the passenger’s side. You’ll need to install a plusnut(included) in each of the holes to serve as anchors for the rack. The plusnut installation is rather straightforward and does not require removal of the headliner.
The crossbars are made from a 1” x 2” aluminum extrusion that have 2 top facing T slot channels, a fore and aft channel, and 2 bottom facing channels. This way you have the maximum number of options for tie downs, cargo security, and any accessories you’d like to add for tool mounts or lightning. The rack comes shipped in a black powdercoat with black anodized crossbars. All of the assembly hardware comes in a black zinc finish so it’ll match a black paint or powdercoat finish on the final product. All mountain hardware is either stainless steel or high quality zinc plated. The rack also includes a ⅛” 5052 aluminum plate wind deflector to help with aerodynamics and prevent wind noise. Now your rack slows you down as little as possible and ideally, you’ll forget it’s even there while driving to your adventure destination.
The rack is completely customizable. Check out our gallery for examples of various configurations that can support multiple load sizes and weights. You can also choose the number of crossbars you assemble your rack with. The rack comes standard with 9 cross bars for cargo and 1 additional for mounting of a wind deflector, lightbar, or combination of the two.
Weight capacity of the racks varies based on the number of crossbars used and their configuration. This rack will usually require a 1-2 week lead time for the manufacturer, but we promise it’s worth the wait!
